Endocervical Metaplastic Cells

Pidou! (Tutorial inside)

It is good to have friends who love Japan. So, they bring you things more or less useless but still funny and interesting.
By cons, there, a friend of mine who just jump in Tokyo brought me a gem. A "machine with pompoms," bought in my favorite store in Japan, Tokyu Hands .

Greeeuhhh!

So unfortunately this is not a machine that when you put the ball of wool inside it leaves you a tassel, but it's a handy little thing that replaces skillfully pieces of cardboard that is used normally.

If you are interested, know that I just found the same to my favorite store, Knit It , Paris 16ème, metro La Muette.

Here's how the contraption works (that's what I'll call it now) ...

1. Choose your size thingy (I have 3 cm, 4 cm, 6 cm, 8 cm).

By observing, you'll see that each of the widgets can be separated into two
and each half has two "legs" that can open.

2. To begin the cake, simply close the two halves and open the 4 legs.
Then, the wire is wound around each pair of legs, they were tied up.

===***===

3. Once the two pairs of legs well "tied up", close the widget and get out the scissors.
You can cut the center of each rope bondage, as to release the two legs.

That's what it looks like a pair of legs released

As you can see, there is a small hollow on the inside of tying that leaves room
to get the blade of scissors

===***===

4. once the center released, you can now wrap a wire around the axis of the future for many pompom tie. It was enough for one round and a good knot.
No need to turn around 50 times.

5. Finally, we can free the tassel of her jacket, open legs and unclip the whole.
Finally we cut the excess wool that exceed by here and there and we have a tassel ...

... which to embellish your mittens bâeelles ^ ^
